Education, Training and Research

Born in Beirut and raised in West Michigan, I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a B.S. in Biomedical Science and an M.S. in Health Science. I moved to the Hawkeye state in 2012 to be a part of the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Immunology. My research interests include using the experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) model to study the regulation of the immune cell types that mediate the autoimmune disease Multiple Sclerosis (MS). My life outside of research involves enjoying outdoor activities with friends and spending time with family.
