Connor Wilhelm, BS
Originally from Woodstock Illinois, I began my scientific career at the University of Wisconsin Madison studying formin mediated actin polymerization under Dr. William Bement. After completing my thesis on this topic and graduating in 2019, I spent a year as a research technician studying how neuroinflammation contributes to the progression of Alzheimer’s disease under Dr. Tyler Ulland at the UW-Madison School of Medicine. Now in Dr. Karandikar’s lab, I look forward to better understand the immunological mechanisms that govern Multiple Sclerosis and potentially finding ways to ameliorate its severity. I am thankful for the opportunity to learn and grow as a scientist here and I am excited to see what information I can contribute to the field.
