At the recent Autumn Immunology Conference (AIC) in Chicago, Farah Itani received the AAI Young Investigator Award, which is given to the student presenter whose abstract is judged best in their section. Ms. Itani is a PhD student in the Immunology program, doing her doctoral thesis work in Dr. Nitin Karandikar’s laboratory.

Nitin Karandikar, MD, PhD, Professor and Vice Chair of Pathology, was honored by the Greater Dallas Indo-American Chamber Commerce (GDIACC) at their recent Awards Banquet for Outstanding Contribution to Science and Medicine.
